Plastic Ziploc bags (for toys with small parts or shoes)
Packing Tape (for attaching tags to large items or toys)

Making Your Tags
Tags that do not follow these guidelines cause longer check-out lines and a longer re-sort time. For this reason, consignors with tags that DO NOT follow these guidelines will incur a $5 service fee that will be deducted from your consignor check. This includes tags used from other consignment sales.

TAGGING OPTION 1 - Print Your Own Tags - Detailed or Generic
Items required:
* 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock * Printer * Adobe Acrobat Reader
Detailed Tags give a complete tag ready to place on your item. You simply enter a description when entering tag information.
If you would like a DETAILED account of items sold, you MUST use this method.
Generic Tags gives you barcoded tags while allowing you to complete descriptions at your convenience.
This method, without a description, will NOT give a detailed account of items sold.
THKS recommends printing your own tags. Tags print 9 per page.
TAGGING OPTION 2 - Hand-Write Your Tags on 3x5 Index Cards
This option requires you to print the barcodes on AVERY LABELS #48860 (or 5160 compatible) or to order barcodes from THKS for $1.00 per 100 barcodes. This fee will be deducted from your consignor check.
Use the following sections for preparing your tags by hand.
Safety Pin index cards vertically to the right portion of the item.
Donate / 'D' (optional)
You have the option to donate your items that do not sell. Simply, place a 'D' in the upper left corner of the index card. If it does not sell, we will deliver it to a local charity.
Gender & Size
Specify gender and size at the top right corner of the index card. (Remember, all items will need to be arranged by gender and size at drop-off.)
Item Description
Use the middle section of the index card to describe your item. This is a good chance to point out if it is a brand name item. Also, using colorful words like adorable, charming, and beautiful help to sell items. Indicate here if an item has more than one piece. For bigger items, it can be helpful if you add the original amount paid. This lets the shopper know what a bargain they are getting.
Barcodes
Barcodes should be affixed to the lower portion of the tag and can be obtained by the following methods through your consignor account:
PRINT YOUR OWN BARCODES- (30 per page)
This option allows you the convenience of printing barcodes when you need them.

* Avery 48860 Labels (or 5160 compatible) * Printer
ORDER BARCODES FROM THKS- Deadline September 9, 2010
Submit your barcode order and have them printed and mailed.
A charge of $1.00/100 barcodes will be deducted from your consignor check.
GENERAL BARCODE INFORMATION
* Barcodes consist of consignor number, amount,
and if the item will be discounted.
* Barcodes with marks or writing will not be accepted.
