  • Log into your consignor page. Click on “Register for upcoming sale”
  • You will be taken thru an address verification, asked to sign the Consignor Agreement, then taken to the PayPal page.
  • From the PayPal page, you can pay your fee with a debit/credit card or if you have a PayPal account, you can use that option.

Registration Fee

Drop Off Steps

  1. Check-In, inside the front door. When you sign in, you’ll receive your Presale Passes. DO NOT LOSE THEM!!
  2. NO WAITING FOR INSPECTION: You will be placing clothing on racks in correct size/gender, shoes in baskets in correct size/gender. You will place non-clothing items in labeled tubs around the perimeter of tables. We will inspect clothing ON the racks during/after drop off.  Items that do not pass inspection will be returned at Pick up.
  3. If you have large items, go to Large Item Tagging Station. We will provide big, pink large item tags for big/bulky items (furniture, baby gear, big/outside toys, etc). The white consignor tag for your item will attach to this big pink tag. Consignor will fill out the TOP of pink tag and attach your white consignor tag to BOTTOM. Then you will attach your big pink tag to your items and place it on the floor.                                                           Email will drop off details will be sent SUN Mar 12 for MO, SUN Apr 16  for Springfield IL and MON May 1 for Peoria IL. Refer to this email for drop off details.

    How Pick Up Works

    * NOTE: We are unable to hold unclaimed items or arrange later pick-up times. Items left behind will be donated. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

    WE WILL SORT FOR 4 HOURS AFTER THE SALE. Depending on the number of items left to sort and number of Sort workers, we may not completely sort all items to the individual.

    Consignors are responsible for collecting all of their items before they leave.

    Trading Hands is NOT responsible for any items forgotten, overlooked or left behind.

    • You will visit the areas below, pick up your unsold items FIRST. 
    • NON-CLOTHING/TABLE ITEMS: Consignor numbers will be in numerical order on index cards on the tables. FIND YOUR CONSIGNOR NUMBER ON THE TABLE: your sorted pile of items will be there.  If table sections are unsorted or partially sorted, you’ll look for your items there.
    • CLOTHING: depending on time, clothing may be sorted to 100s. Each row will be labeled. Go to your 100s section (ex. Consignor 919 would go to the 900 row and pull all the 919 clothing).
    • LOST + FOUND: check the area where hold was for any of your items that have lost a tag or gotten separated.
    • LARGE ITEMS: unsold large items will be on the sales floor for you to collect.
    • MO + SPRINGFIELD IL: You will initial your Pick Up Checklist to receive your check. If you have a missing item, your check will be held until the issue is resolved
    • ALL items will be checked as you exit.
    • If you have large items, please bring someone to help you load items.
    • Any items not picked up by end of pick up time will be donated. NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • ANYONE can pick up your unsold items. No ID required, but they will need your Consignor #.

    Donated items and any unclaimed items will be donated to charities TBD. Past sales we have donated to the following organizations:

    SPRINGFIELD MO + SPRINGFIELD IL:

    * NOTE: We make every effort to have your check available at Pick-Up. If for some unforeseen circumstance (technical issues, loss of internet, etc) checks will not be available, you will receive an email prior to Pick-Up, if possible. Checks would be mailed the following week.

    • If you have a missing item, your check will be held until the issue is resolved.
    • Please bring your VALID state issued picture ID to receive check.
    • Your spouse may pick up your check by presenting their ID.
    • You may send someone else to pick up your check, but they must bring YOUR state ID. NO EXCEPTIONS: no photocopies or verbal permission accepted.
    • Checks not picked up will be mailed the following week to the address on file.
    • Once checks are mailed, Trading Hands is NOT responsible for checks that are not delivered.
    • Checks not cashed after 90 days will be voided.
    • Trading Hands is NOT responsible for lost or damaged checks. See your consignor agreement for details on check reissue.
    • PEORIA IL: Checks will be mailed within 14 days to address on file.
    • Once checks are mailed, Trading Hands is NOT responsible for checks that are not delivered.
    • Checks not cashed after 90 days will be voided.
    • Trading Hands is NOT responsible for lost or damaged checks. See your consignor agreement for details on check reissue.
